One of the main reasons I was attracted to hypnosis and past life regression in the first place is my love of history, ancient civilizations and lost knowledge. Once I discovered that reincarnation is a natural part of our existence and that I could act as a facilitator for subjects to relive past lives, the unlimited knowledge of Spirit was revealed.
As I have written many times in my books, past life regressions have not only given my subjects and readers a glimpse into fascinating places and times throughout history, they have also made available the vast reservoir of information accessible to the soul in its sprit state that is forgotten by most people when they reincarnate in a physical body.
Back in the 1980s, I worked on one of my most intriguing cases that involved actual communication with the world-famous psychic Nostradamus. How could I possibly talk to the mysterious mystic who has been dead for hundreds of years? The answer is, although I could have never anticipated it, reincarnation made contact with him possible.
As chronicled in my series of books Conversations with Nostradamus Volumes I, II and III, it all began when I met Elena, an attractive woman in her forties, at a metaphysical gathering in the town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, near my home. In those days, there was very little information about reincarnation or anything “paranormal” available, so a group of like-minded people got together to discuss the possibilities of the supernatural.
Out of curiosity, Elena turned up at one of these meetings, and when I came to know her better, she revealed that she had a Near Death Experience (NDE) while being hospitalized for complications to one of her pregnancies. The experience was profound. But Elena was raised as a Catholic and had no idea about the concept of reincarnation.
When we did our first regression, Elena easily entered a deep somnambulistic trance. Elena proved to be an excellent subject, but she worked in a diner and was a busy wife and mother, so it was hard to schedule sessions with her. Nevertheless, after several weeks, what we eventually uncovered transpired because of the reality of reincarnation.
In France of the 1500s, Elena led a life as a man named Dionysus, one of six students studying in secret with a learned doctor and teacher. Guarded and protective at first, Dionysus eventually recalled with intricate detail some of the methods and wisdom of his mentor, the great Nostradamus, who actually detected our communication in his time and began to talk to me directly through Elena and subsequent subjects I regressed in trance. Without reincarnation, none of this would have been possible.
Elena opened the door to a wealth of knowledge that only Nostradamus possessed, but if she hadn’t been his student in a past life, there would have been no way for me to work with him on deciphering his prophecies. This is just one, albeit a dramatic and fascinating example, of how reincarnation is at work in all our lives, and we have had many of them.
